Assistant Professor


Anna Dettlaff, PhD, BEng is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Chemistry at the Department of Energy Conversion and Storage at the Gdańsk University of Technology. She received her Master of Science degree in engineering with honours in 2013 at the Gdańsk University of Technology at the Department of Analytical Chemistry. In 2013-2017, she was a PhD student in the field of Chemical Technology. Her doctoral dissertation was entitled “Nanocomposites based on conducting polymer and carbon materials for supercapacitor application”. In 2015, she was doing a three-month internship at the Scientific Institute „Next Energy EWE-Forschungszentrum für Energietechnologie e.V.” Oldenburg (Germany). She received her PhD degree in 2017. Her current interest domains include electrochemistry and materials engineering in particular carbon materials, electrochemical sensors, and materials for energy storage.
